Bachelor in Public Health (BPH)
Overview
- Public health is the field of science which deals with taking the suitable measures in improving the health conditions of society by educating them regarding the various infectious diseases and helping them to understand the preventive measures.
- Public health professionals educate the people regarding the vaccinations against various infectious diseases.
- This undergraduate course trains the student in essential skills needed to plan, initiate and manage health care programmes.
- It is a three years course inclusive of research projects
Eligibility
- Candidates for admission to BPH course should have completed higher secondary level or Pre University College (10 +2) in any stream.

Lateral Entry: Candidates who have completed 3 years Diploma in any health sciences, or Diploma in Public Health/Community medicine can join 3rd semester directly provided they have undergone training in minimum of three subjects mentioned in semester 1 & 2 of BPH curriculum of RGUHS or any equivalent topics related to public health.
