Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)
Overview
- Medical laboratory technology is the branch of medical science responsible for performing laboratory investigations relating to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.
- Within completion of 3 years of the above given course, the candidate after undergoing requisite course module, diploma will be awarded and also have an option to continue if desired, the degree course, within the requisite time schedule as mentioned in the degree course.
- The course is career orienting and job providing in nature along with many further study scopes.
Eligibility
- Candidates should have passed SSLC with minimum of 55% marks
Duration
- 3 years of course and six month of internship.
Attendance
- 80% of total number of classes conducted in an academic year. Only such candidates are eligible to appear for university examination.

Internship
- 3 months (90days) of Clinical postings
Higher Studies
- Lateral entry for BSc MLT( 2nd year BSc MLT)
