Third-year and first-year BSc MLT students of 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐉𝐲𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬, accompanied by two faculty members, were taken to an academic visit to “𝐤𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐛𝐚 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞” 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞, Blood Bank.
15 students from our Institute's B.Sc. MLT and B.Sc. Optometry course had the opportunity to participate in "𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐲" organized by the Red Cross at Red Cross Bhavan on June 15, 2024.
On May 8th, 2024, the students of 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐚 𝐉𝐲𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢 participated in the 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐃𝐚𝐲 Celebration at the Red Cross Bhavan in Udupi.
𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐉𝐲𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 marked 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲, with a memorable celebration. 𝐃𝐫. 𝐕𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐊𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢 𝐌, Blood Center Officer at District Hospital, Udupi, delivered an insightful discourse emphasizing the pivotal role of Laboratory Technicians, particularly during the 𝐂𝐎𝐕𝐈𝐃-𝟏𝟗 pandemic.
𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐉𝐲𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 hosted a blood donation drive on the same day. Approximately 𝟑𝟎 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 generously donated blood.
